CONTROL UNIT On site installation with vinyl, notes, monitor/video loop
The installation in the former porter's lodge of the gallery building suggests a systematic registration of visitors via scanning and coded process control. In the rhythmically repeated alternation of animated code and typographic announcements, alarming conclusions and surprising reinterpretations occur: Not the object of observation, but the surveillance system itself seems to be out of control.
