The on-site installation presents the portrait of a young woman (Viola Kamp) looking out of the window as if through a grating. She is simultaneously a perceiving subject and an observed object, with the glass pane acting as an interface between inside and outside, reminiscent of the facial recognition grid of a surveillance program. With the typographic reference to the depicted art figure Viola Kamp, any identifiability is simultaneously denied and a clear assignment is excluded. "This is not me.“
