SERVICE BLOCK On site installation with light, advertising foils, video projection

The traffic pulpit at Joachimsthaler Platz becomes a large light box with video projection and a subversively affirmative advertising platform for the campaign "Become a ++genius". Various fictitious test subjects demonstrate the development possibilities of the human brain for the performance requirements of the future.

Equipped with fictitious digital body extensions, they strive to follow the instructions of an anonymous off-voice. The instructions for "thinking more beautifully" cite popular advice concepts, among other things. The computer-edited video was initially created as a "Brain User's Guide" in the context of the work "Mindmapping" (1998) as a self-performance by the artist with a data helmet dummy and was supplemented by further "test persons".
The campaign, which directly addresses passers-by, is accompanied on the homepage of a fictitious service organization. Here, people can register for the international brain training via email: "Yes, I am ready to join the mental fitness program ..."
